Latest News & Announcements
I have been made aware of a problem with one of the larger fish caught and taken for eating, when caught,
the fish looked and fought well as would be expected of our trout however when taken home and prepared for cooking, the entrails
were diseased and the meat "off", a strong smell and bad taste were experienced. I am therefore letting all syndicate members
know about this and would ask that anyone experiencing anything similar contact me immediately. I believe this to be an isolated
case, but need to be sure. I would ask that any trout caught over five pounds in weight are returned if in a condition to
do so. 28/05/08
The recent rains have helped clear the lakes now, bringing the clearer water and the slightly harder fishing

Following an amazing two weeks in California... I enjoyed the surroundings of Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada
border so much that I have decided to buy a house there in order to enjoy it over an over, as well as let other people experience
it. The fishing was some of the best fishing I had ever done, with numerous creeks, rivers and lakes to fish for a variety
of species. I fished for trout on the East & West Carson river, catching wild brownies, rainbow and the rarer cut throat.....
If you fancy a fly fishing trip to the sunny state then please get in touch and I can forward the details.
